Physical, Practical, Emotional and Informational Support
A postpartum doula assists mom, baby, and family through their postpartum journey. Whether you are first time parents or adding to the family, I am here to help in every way! Along with making sure mom is rested, well fed, and showered, I am a listening ear and a calm presence for you to share your stories and ask questions.
Breastfeeding Support
I am your breastfeeding cheerleader! I have breastfed both of my children and can refer you to local lactation consultants should you need more assistance. I will help you snuggle in with a cold glass of water, some snacks, and some pillows to make feeding your little one as cozy as possible.
Babywearing
Interested in babywearing? I will share with you babywearing benefits and different styles of carriers so that we can find the carrier that suits you and your baby! Already have a carrier? Great! Let's practice it together.
Sibling and Pet Adjustment
A new addition is a big change for siblings and fur babies. I can help you with a plan for introducing and including siblings and pets so that everyone can be a part of this very special time.
Bottle Feeding
Whether you're bottle feeding with formula or breast milk, I will guide you through paced bottle feeding to help minimize gas and overfeeding. I will wash and sterilize bottles throughout my shifts as well as help prepare formula and/or breast milk for the times I am away.
Baby Soothing, Diapering, and Sleep
We will practice soothing techniques and find what works for you and your baby. I will aid in diapering, changing, and safe sleep for your baby while you get some much needed rest.
Meal Preparation
I understand the importance of proper nutrition during the postpartum period. That's why I offer food prep services to new mothers providing them with healthy and nourishing meals that support their recovery and breastfeeding journey. Let me take care of the cooking so you can focus on bonding with your new baby.
Light Housework
As a mom and Doula, I know that new mothers need all the help they can get. I offer light housework services to make your transition into motherhood as smooth as possible. From laundry to dishes, bottles and pump parts, I'm here to lend a hand!

My name is Jenna Sullivan. I am a postpartum doula in Lubbock, TX. I’m passionate about serving families, nurturing mothers, and easing the transition from pregnancy and birth through your postpartum journey. As your postpartum doula I will ensure that all family members are cared for, rested, and loved. I will serve you and your family as you welcome your newest addition.

After two degrees in education and thirteen years of teaching music in the public elementary school classroom I discovered my passion for nurturing mothers and babies while serving as a postpartum doula for my sister and best friend. I became interested in all things birth work when I was pregnant with our second child, Eloise. After her birth, my postpartum doulas were my mom, my mother-in-love, and my best friend, and boy was I lucky! It was then that I realized, not only did I love everything about birth and postpartum care, but that ALL families should have postpartum care, and that I wanted to provide that service. I began my postpartum training shortly after giving birth to our girl and have started the business of my dreams!

Originally from Florida, I moved to Lubbock Texas in 2023 with my family. I live with my husband and best friend, Corey, our 7 year old son, Owen, our 6 month old, Eloise, and our two kitty cats, Annie and Kosh. We love spending time together exploring new places, watching baseball, getting outdoors, and slow weekend mornings.
